A Seat at the Table is an online magazine striving to amplify the voices of the underrepresented in tabletop gaming. We are a platform for women, people of color, LGBTQ+, and disabled gamers to share their experiences as minorities in the tabletop industry.
A Seat at the Table's goal is to increase awareness of the issues faced by underrepresented groups in the tabletop industry through sharing personal essays describing their experiences and by celebrating the work that they accomplish.
A Seat at the Table is published biannually with one issue released in the summer and one in the winter. Each issue is comprised of personal essays written by people involved in the industry in various capacities, from players and designers to publishers and retailers. Issues have a general theme, but submissions of all kinds are considered before each publication. More information about submissions can be found here.
We all deserve a seat at the table.
